¡Bienvenidos!

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for being there for others; not just friends and family but also strangers and acquaintances.  I have a passion for listening, caring, wiping tears and lending advice.  Helping others to make their own decisions while doing what’s best for them, helping them to become self-aware while being strong and independent but still compassionate and understanding, gives me great satisfaction. Not only do I learn more and more about people but I learn the most about myself.

I find that it is easiest to help others using one of my many quotes out of one of my many quote books! Along with these quotes I try to tie in personal experiences when I can to help relate and provide insight. We only know what we have experienced and what we have learned from these experiences, nothing more, nothing less.

I get quotes from eveywhere: friends, movies, television, websites, books, strangers, you name it!  They are written on random pieces of paper and receipts at the bottom of my purse. I find them in doc. files on my computer, ‘notepads’ on my iPad and in text messages to myself.  I never miss a chance to capture a good quote.  When I am battling a certain emotion or experience I search for quotes everywhere I can that can help to get me through it, help me to have insight into what i am experiencing, why, how to get through it and what it has taught me that I can take away with me to grow and help others.

I decided recently that I need to do something more, something bigger, something I’m passionate about. Well, this is it: A Day in My Quote Book! I plan on sharing a quote everyday from my quote book and then sharing a story with all of you that relates to the quote.

I hope that you enjoy this and find the same amount of comfort in reading them as I will have in sharing them.

  1. I’m so excited to peek in on you with your new adventure. You certainly were a quick friend to me and a wonderful encourager to me and Kate. You are a strong and compassionate lady and I count you as a blessing in my life, even though we only got to spend a short time together before you headed to Chicago.

Best wishes and blessings to you!

  2. I find it hard to look for motivation on the internet by just randomly Googling when I need it, and your website is exactly what I have been searching for so long! Thank you, you’re so awesome! 😀

    • Thank you so much for your comment! This made my entire day! I created this blog, not only for myself, but for others like you, hoping that I could motivate and inspire just ONE person (if not many). Thank you for letting me know that I was successful in this. Have a wonderful day and I hope to continue to motivate you in the coming days.
