8/23/13 – You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children

Standard

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo  a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.” – Pablo Casals

  1. Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long)
so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still
new to everything. Do you have any points for beginner blog writers?
    I’d definitely appreciate it.

    • Hi there! Thanks so much for reaching out! Honestly the main point I could give you is to just keep it up, write about what inspires you, and don’t worry about how many people are viewing it. If just ONE person is viewing it across this crazy world, you have just touched one person more than the day before 🙂 Write for YOU and don’t stop. I need to take my own advice and take the time each day (or every other) to write. I’ve learned that people notice now when I don’t and I notice that I don’t feel the same either. I hope that helps 🙂 Please feel free to keep in touch! — Lauren
